Conco Companies’ Willard and Galloway sites located near Springfield, Missouri, recently earned Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) Conservation Certifications in 2025.
Willard Quarry was created in a landscaped area in front of a quarry scale house, where the team planted all native grasses and flowers to support pollinators and enhance beautification of the site entrance.
Galloway Quarry earned a Silver Tier certification for their work on a seven-acre native grassland that includes seeding, invasive species control, and plant monitoring. They also implemented a deer population survey that features population monitoring, buck to doe ratio calculations, and identifying resource concerns for the population.
Congratulations to everyone at Conco and their Environmental team!
